International Film Festival

What:

Rodin international film festival with films, food, and discussion - films that are serious, scary, silly, political, or all four.

Host: Professor Megan Robb, Rodin College House Academic Fellow

Take a break from studying and join us each Thursday for good food, friends, films from all around the world, and a bit of discussion led by experts from across UPenn. No need to stay for the whole film – drop in and take a short break from studying or make a night of it and bring your friends from outside Rodin. All UPenn students are welcome.

Community, public, and belonging are central issues worldwide. How do we define our sense of self, as individuals, family members, citizens when our geographic or cultural spaces are changing? How are these questions influenced by politics, religion, physical and mental health, and language? How do films deal with this issues as opposed to say, books, the news?

When:

Thursday September 21st, 2017 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Where:

Rooftop Lounge
