Trip to the African American Museum in Philadelphia

What:

In light of black history month, Rodin United and Rodin Outdoors invites you to the African American Museum in Philadelphia to see a special exhibit.

The exhibit, Waging Peace: 100 Years of Action is a new interactive traveling exhibition presented by the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC). The exhibit demonstrates the effectiveness of nonviolence to build justice, overcome oppression and prevent violence using the provocative stories of those who fought against injustice and those who have been helped in the fight during the last century.  The exhibit addresses issues we continue to struggle with today: Building Peace, Ending Discrimination, Addressing Prisons, Just Economies, and Immigrant Rights.
