9h floor

Eunji Kim is a joint Ph.D student in Annenberg School for Communication and Department of Political Science. She studies the role of media in shaping American public opinion, with a particular focus on citizens' perceptions of economic mobility. Born and raised in South Korea, she flew to the United States to attend Harvard where she majored in government.

Outside of academia, she enjoys listening to podcasts (i.e. Freakonomics, NPR politics), watching uplifting (political) tv series (i.e. Madam Secretary, West Wing), going to philadelphia orchestra concerts, playing piano, and cooking. She has also traveled extensively, and her favoriate memories are stored in the Himalaya Trails (the annapurna), the Camino de Santiago, and London where she played piano on the street to pay for her beer.
